Safety razor

I am SO pleased with my purchase. I am kicking myself for not getting a safety razor sooner! It's truly a safety device. I feel no concerns whatsoever with potential nicks and I really appreciate the long handle. 5 stars for sure!

Does the Job

The razor never rusted and I don’t have many complaints about it. No more disposable razors!

I just used my first ever safety razor and I'm super impressed! I took it slow and let the blade carry its own weight, ended up with no cuts on my legs or underarms! I thought the blades were flimsy but they did the job, and I'm happy this product works perfectly for me.

Safety Razor

It’s pretty sharp so be careful the first few times you use it, but it gives a nice clean shave afterwards. I’ve been shaving my legs, armpits, and groin area with it and it works well. Make sure you use a shaving cream or something of the sort because it doesn’t run smoothly and it’s uncomfortable when you shave with just water. Overall, I’m happy with this razor and happy I get to save lots of money in the long run.

Sadly disappointed

I was so excited about the idea of the Zero Waste Store. I bought a razor and shampoo & conditioner bars. I can’t say I am excited about any of my purchases.
As for the razor. It is a beautiful and sturdy construction, super easy and safe to refill. That said, my shave was far from close and I ended up cutting myself up pretty good during the second use with the first blade. Changed the blade (I get WAY more uses out of a disposable blade) but the shave was still not particularly smooth. Admittedly, I was gun-shy after getting cut up the previous time, so I may not have applied appropriate pressure.
All in all, the company idea is fantastic. That said, I was ultimately unable to commit to the trade-offs that these products required. I will use the S & C (because I don’t want to waste them) but will have to find a new home for my razor.
